Artist's Statement
The driving force behind my creative process is the desire to establish a situational interplay between my subconscious and the apparent physical world that surrounds me.
Process Description
In my paintings I strive to invoke and synthesize a body of rich imagery and forms through a creative process that employs gestural brushwork discreet image distortions, and monochromatic pictorial spaces. This process is coupled with a warm pallet to achieve the desired effect of creating images and evoking emotions, which linger on through space and time beyond a point of narration. These emotional vortices of expression are molded onto a canvas within the confinement of a situational framework. This process, in one sentence, can best described as "The creation of pictorial bridges that connect real and imaginary worlds".
